Once you have your plant form the nursery plant as soon as possible - Water well before planting- When planting outdoors, dig a hole about twice the size of the rootball, mix compost or sheep pellets with the soil and use this for backfilling the planting hole- Use a good quality potting mix and water retention materials if planting in baskets, pots or tubs.
